Wedding season is in full swing and admittedly I’ve been a little behind on sharing updates here on my blog. I had two back to back weddings this weekend and boy was it nice to snooze a few hours extra on Sunday! Here is a little sneak peak of some of the loveliness from Lana & Morgan’s Wedding on Saturday at the Pulgas Water Temple. For a little background on this sweet pair; check out their Engagement Session.

From the moment Chrissie contacted me, I was instantly excited at the opportunity of capturing some very special moments during this exciting time in her life alongside her fiancé Jason and sweet baby girl Siena. Chrissie and I clicked right away and chatted as long time friends over coffee. As her story unfolded about how her and Jason came to be – and all the seasons they’ve overcome/enjoyed together for the past 8 years – I couldn’t be more excited for these two as they take this next leap together with so much to celebrate!

Congratulations on your Engagement Chrissie & Jason! Below are just a few of my favorites from their Engagement session, enjoy!

This past weekend I got to photograph one of my dearest friends’ Vietnamese Engagement Ceremony commonly known as a tea ceremony – here are just a few highlights from the day.

I loved how excited they were to incorporate this tradition to celebrate their union among their closest friends/family with their own modern twist. Thoey donning a stunning gold ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), with a delicate flower crown and all her bridesmaids in Vietnamese/Chinese dresses they thrifted at various shops – in true Thoey fashion! Enjoyed their day very much and am so looking forward to their wedding this Fall!

Though I primarily photograph weddings, lately I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few newborns and it’s been a whole new learning curve for me but it’s been so much fun and truly an honor to be invited into such intimate moments during a parents’ life. For this session, I got to spend a few hours with Sejal & Vipul with their sweet baby boy Rayan at just two weeks old in their home. It was such a joy to capture some very special moments of them just cuddling with Rayan and adoring all his sweet little baby parts from his head down to his little toes! Below are just some of my favorite moments from the day.DSC_3225storyboard001DSC_3170DSC_3255storyboard003

A few favorite snaps from yesterday – the perfect Sunday afternoon spent hiking, chatting and laughing with these two! I can’t wait for their wedding in October! DSC_4881DSC_4994storyboard003DSC_5035storyboard002DSC_4726storyboard001
