This past weekend I got to photograph the first Autumn wedding of the year and though many argue that Autumn does not truly exist for us Californians, well – it was still so lovely to be able to capture a few photos with those some lovely warm/earthy tones! Their Wedding took place at the charming Palmdale estates in Fremont, CA. Here are just a few favorites of the day!

After being together for well over 10 years, Irene and Tony finally decided to make it official a few months ago at incredible San Francisco City Hall! I’ve been a little behind on updating my blog but I can still remember this day vividly. Irene is a phenomenal hair stylist and I met her earlier this year because worked with one of my previous brides. A couple months later I received a message from her asking if I’d photograph her city hall ceremony with her beau of over ten years! After meeting them both, I was truly honored to be a small part of their intimate celebration. Irene and I clicked immediately and I’m so glad to be able to call her a friend now…and of course my go-to hairstylist;)

Their day began in San Jose at the Hotel Valencia where they both got ready with some of their dearest friends and family. For the ceremony, we headed to San Francisco and could not have asked for a more perfect day with clear sunny skies! Here are just a few favorites from their day! Congratulations again you two!

holiday mini 2014

I’ve been receiving several messages asking if I will be offering Holiday Mini sessions this year and I’m so excited to announce my very first series of Mini Sessions for this Fall/Holiday Season! ¬† This is the perfect opportunity for those who are looking for a few special photographs for their holiday cards and/ or couples needing some for their Save the Dates! These sessions will be approximately 30 minutes and will be on location in an outdoor setting in Los Gatos, CA. ¬†The Dates are Sunday, October 19 and Sunday November 30th.

A Few frequently asked questions:

What time should I show up?

Please arrive at least 15 min before your scheduled time.  The time you reserve is the time we begin.  Arriving late cuts into your time so plan ahead and pick a time that you feel will work best for your family, especially the children.

Can I purchase additional items a la carte?

Digital files, additional Christmas cards, and other prints and products are available a la carte.

How many people can I bring to the session

This fee includes up to 6 people.  Additional people can be added on for an additional sitting fee. If you are using these for Holiday Cards, I suggest just having your immediate family.

How do I make a reservation?

Send me an email at aimi@loveinphotographs[dot]com and I will let you know the time slots available and provide you with further information! I look forward to hearing from you!

These two met while volunteering at a community farm called Veggielution where we had their engagement session and various other social events in our community. They envisioned their day to be intimate with their closest friends and family, casual, fun and of course surrounded by nature and that it was! Their celebration took place at a county park where they enjoy going on hikes with their pup Ceaser and it was just a lovely setting complete with a charming historic house, gorgeous landscapes with plenty of oak trees and sunshine. There was something so special about seeing all their dear friends and family that morning putting together all the details making it that much more meaningful to the two. Having known the bride for a few years now – I couldn’t have imagined the day to be more perfect; filled with creativity, so much laughter, simplicity and lawn games!! Wishing you two many many many more years of your special love!

Wow, wedding season has been in full swing and I am embarrassed that it’s been far too long since I’ve graced my blog with all the loveliness happening around here!

This particular pair had their engagement session and wedding just a couple months from each other! So before I share their wedding, here are a few images from their engagement session in Half Moon Bay at the Ritz Carlton where they enjoy spending time together playing golf and relaxing! These two met their during their Senior year at UC Davis when Hilary was searching for a date to her sorority formal – it was the perfect opportunity for her to ask Matt since having a crush on him all quarter! Together these two make an incredible pair, both having high regard for one another and adoring each other to pieces. I just love they way they smile when around each other and so thrilled for what the future has in store for these two!DSC_8411DSC_8293DSC_8316DSC_8375storyboard005DSC_8310storyboard004storyboard003DSC_8347storyboard002DSC_8486DSC_8565DSC_8626
